Details
verified from church records and personal research – by C Axton (ex
church warden). St Johns was consecrated 27 Nov 1889. The church
was closed 13 Nov 1998 and removed from site. The cemetery adjoins
the public park, the site of the old state school. Some items and
records of the church are held at the History Museum at Ulverstone.
