Richard and Cecilia on church records but not government registry. In late 1880’s, moved to Richmond, Victoria where Phillip (1888), Elizabeth, Gertrude Mabel & George were born. Henry died 19 Mar 1940, aged 87, Richmond. Using dates on marriage and death certificates, born c1853; death certificate states born in Tasmania. I have searched all the Henry White’s born about that period on the government registry. Only possibility is a Henry White born 28 May 1850 to a William and Elizabeth nee Partridge in Morven, Evandale. William & Elizabeth married in 1848 in the Church of Scotland. On government registry it states another son (no name given) born Apr 1853 and a daughter Elizabeth born 11 Dec 1851. I do not have any Williams in the family. Was it possible for a Catholic girl and a Presbyterian boy to marry in 1878? I am just not convinced that William & Elizabeth are Henry’s parents. Look forward to any comments. Vicki Milner
